Businesses today must diversify recruitment efforts to meet their future labor needs. Utilizing an employment company is one approach.  This involves shopping around just as you would for any service.

 §         Find out how the service will support you and handle any problems that come up during the training period and after.  Ask for specific examples.

§         Ask for references and make calls to those on the list.  Don’t hesitate to ask what they liked and didn’t like about the service.

§         Clarify the responsibilities of the employment service and your company.

§         Determine if there are any fees involved.  If there are, be sure they are clearly explained. [most CNYPC agencies have no fees.]

§         Look for staff that are willing to learn about your company or companies of your type, and also know the local business community.

§         Be sure the employment service offers support in analyzing jobs and developing accommodations to match individuals to jobs.
